The Circus brought a world full of wonder and amazement. As long as cameras have existed, someone has been taking pictures. My family has collected photos from some of the circus fans, collectors, photographers, friends and the ones they took themselves to preserve these great old images of days gone by. Truck shows and Carnivals – CD # 14
This is a CD filled with 419 photos from our photo album # 14 that contains an excellent set of the Tim McCoy Wild West show from it’s only and fateful 1938 tour, plus a set of Cole Bros. Circus from 1948, various truck shows from the early 1950’s such as Pawnee Bros., Don Robinson, Hagan-Wallace, Terrell Jacobs show on the backend of Strates Midway and some good carnival photos featuring the Mighty Sheesley Shows and the Royal American Shows. Some of the photos are ours and some were collected from Wm. H.B. Jones, Arthur Stensvad, and Carl Elwell.
Circus Album # 20
You are going to enjoy 315 black and white photos taken on the Al G. Barnes Circus over the years and on the 1937 and 1938 titled Al G. Barnes and Sells-Floto Circus. These were collected from various individuals over 50 years and compiled into one Photo Album that is now a treasure trove of circus history.

This album has a total of 256 photos in it. All of the photos are from the Sparks Circus including winter quarters shots and on the road both. These photos cover a time frame from 1902 until they ended up in the Sarasota Winter quarters of the Ringling show.

This album has a total of 326 photos in it. Some are enlargements of others but just a few. This album is full of photos from the Peru, Indiana winter quarters. There are lots of photos from the Howe’s Great London shows as well as photos from the Gollmar Bros. Circus and some Christy Bros. Circus photos. There are a few from the Dode Fisk Show and Sangers Great European Shows also.

You will be delighted with the wide variety of photos from the Gollmar Bros. Circus and the John Robinson’s 10 Big Shows. There are a total of 174 photos in this album with 13 of them being duplicates.

This album is called small railroad shows from 1910 to 1930. It offers 96 photos including Heritage Bros. Circus, Lee Bros. Christy Bros. and the Gentry Bros.

This scrapbook is called Small Railroad Shows 1911 to 1927 including A.Downie Shows. There are 117 photos in the scrapbook. A couple are duplicates. You’ll find some photos of Barton and Bailey, Buck Jones Wild West, LaTena Circus, Cook and Wilson and more.

This wonderful collection has 38 photos in it. There are a lot of the Sig Sautelle show along with Sells and Gray, J.H. LaPearl and a couple other titles with one photo each.

The Christy Bros. Circus was the Wonder Show along with their No. 2 outfit called Lee Bros. Circus. They carried some of the most well carved parade wagons and a huge ensemble of cages. This CD also offers some of the 1922 Howe’s Great London Shows and some Sparks Circus as well. There are 95 photos collected over 50 years from various collections around the country all in one great Circus Scrapbook.
Carnivals on Rails Album # 54
Included in Album # 54 are over three hundred photos of Carnivals that travelled by Rails such as the Royal American Shows, Cetlin and Wilson, Smith’s Greater Shows, Great Patterson Shows, Strates, Cavalcade of America and many more. Many of them fall in the Very hard to find category. This is not your average collection.

Circus Album # 71 is full of the 1938 Robbins Bros. Circus from being put together in the Rochester Winter Quarters to being on the road and finally back in quarters in the fall of 1938.
